Purpose and Scope
The Manager, Supply Chain Finance, is responsible for accurate and timely project items in relation to supply chain and merchandise, along with other general finance and accounting activities, procedures, and policies. This role supports the Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSC&L) department while also assisting the Finance department in day-to-day activities. Ensures that inventory and merchandise accounts are accurately recorded and reported, while also assisting with journal entries, accounts reconciliations, other assets/liabilities, and other financial transactions to ensure they are complete and accurate. The overarching goal is to build continuously improving financial processes with regards to supply chain, merchandise, and other financial systems with integrity while providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in managing and executing the Supply Chain Transformation initiative
Drive projects and assist on initiatives which improve supply chain processes by leaning processes, reducing cost, accelerating lead-times, and/or improving customer experience.
Serve as Finance Business Partner to the GSC&L team and actively participate in meetings, initiatives, and process improvement projects.
Ensure accurate and complete costing and tracking of global inventory.
Assist in forecasting inventory costs as part of regular cash flow forecasting and review.
Assist in the preparation of the budget for inventory planning during the annual budget cycle.
Work with other teams to improve inputs and outputs associated with improvement initiatives, supply chain projects, and communication improvements.
Management, direction, mentoring and training for the Coordinator of Supply Chain Finance role and for other Finance and non-Finance staff as required.
Provide assigned monthly account analyses and reconciliations for various accounts – both supply chain and non-supply chain related.
Assist in the monthly preparation for cash flow forecasts and participate in cash flow meetings across departments.
Assist in preparation and review of financial statements, schedules, and accompanying comments.
Oversee annual physical Scripture inventory counts and their reconciliations.
Responsible for maintenance of proper integration of data Warehouse Management Systems to NetSuite.
Oversee, review, and maintain General Ledger for Scripture inventory accounts.
Oversee merchandise inventory functions and management.
Responsible for monthly and annual reconciliation of merchandise inventory account.
Review, maintain and control the flow of merchandise inventory General Ledger.
Other Essential Functions
Work closely with other functional teams to resolve any financial and accounting issues that impact the set of books.
Provide additional reporting and analysis to other departments as needed to assist in meeting their objectives and goals.
Assist the Corporate Controller, Finance, Leaders, and other Finance staff with various other projects as assigned.
Assist in the preparation of book of reports for Finance Committee meetings.
Oversee financial functions as assigned.
Train new employees on financial systems and processes.
Manage, review, and apply policies and procedures to ensure proper controls are in place.
Participate and assist in preparation for annual independent audit. Manage and coordinate with the auditors regarding their schedules and items of preparation for the annual audit. Serve as liaison with auditors.
Prepare and assist with writing and maintaining financial procedures necessary for proper internal controls.
Assist in facilitation and review of the annual budgeting process.
Responsible for monthly budget meetings with other departments.
Assist as needed in the annual filing of tax returns and forms.
Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and management reporting.
Offer analysis to determine and prioritize workflow improvements.
Add overall value to the organization and self by taking on ever-increasing responsibility, skill sets and spiritual growth.
Perform other duties as required.
As requested, assist in performing financial and other duties at the annual Gideons International Convention.
Participate in daily morning staff devotions; on a rotating basis serve by praying and reading Scripture in support of devotion leader.

Minimum Qualifications
4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years’ experience with finance & accounting processes in a Supply Chain environment
CPA or CMA preferred
Familiarity with non-profit accounting desired, including funds accounting
Proven experience with database management.
Mature, responsible, driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
